Home, Musical, Girls, Callings and Vampire

Hello! We are in our new house! Things worked out beautifully and we are here, well, me and the girls that is!! Maybe I'll laugh about that more later, for now I am just trying to be positive, because really, it is what I want. OK, step back, let me explain. Joe leaves at 6:30 in the morning to go to work, he comes home, grabs a bite to eat and heads off to the Kanesville Tabernacle to be a sound techie, coming home between 9:30-11:00pm. This is the second season for Come Home to Kanesville. I am happy that he can be involved, if I could, I would be too!! I just forgot how hard it was not to have him around! It is not a complaint. Just a mention of my recent reailzation. We miss him!

The good news is that the musical will be awesome. I saw it in '06 and laughed, cried and cheered. It is opening next week. If any of you are around Iowa during this time, it is a must see! Thier website is www.kanesville.org there is limited seating and is by reservation.

The girls are adjusting to the new house well. Xela asked me to put her to bed the first night! Nice! She was so excited to sleep in her new room. After a few nights of trying, Charlotte is sleeping in the same room as Xela. Xela and Charlotte are forming thier bonds of communication and love, which I am so excited for! Mandi and I are only 13 months apart and we almost always shared a room. I highly value her friendship. I came to get Charlotte up from her nap today and she was sitting up! This was her first time on her own from a laying down position!

Joe is the ward mission leader for our ward. He loves it. The missionaries here are filled with the spirit and Joe is too. I have been studing Preach my Gospel as they asked and have found that to be strengthening to my testimony. I was just called to be in the Young Womens as the secretary. I love it. The girls are fun and the Presidency has a good balance of strengths.

One of the girls in Young Womens brought a book to mutual: Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. The next week, another person was talking about it, so I thought I'd try it out. A girl falls in love with a vampire. Wow, I have never been so captivated with a book like I have with this one. I read it quicker than any book ever before. I am starting book two (book 3 is out and book 4 is coming out in August). I wondered if I should be enjoying it so much, because it is about a girl in high school, but I LOVE suspenseful stories. It's sometimes hard to find suspense without the gore, but I found it. If you like a good clean love story, and remember how it felt to be 17, then this is your cup of tea! (PS The movie comes out in December, I HOPE it is not PG-13 or R!)

:O) i like that pic of charlotte at the top and of your funny face! My husband doesn't come from work until about 10pm- I miss him but try not to make it sound like I am complaining. Wish we were closer and could play!

The 3rd book was my favorite. I also felt silly for enjoying it so much. I love Edward and his father the best. They are good characters of strength and sacrifice...anyway, I'm glad Joe got a job and that things are working out! You're in a house? What's his job? I need more. :)
