My Mom invited me to a wedding of a friend from the school she works at. It was a beautiful Catholic wedding, the first I have been to. I enjoyed watching , participating, and sharing in the couple's day. It reminded me of the day I was married and what thought and feelings I had.
Joe has an interview for a company based in Council Bluffs on Wednesday and then one in Sioux City on Thursday. Yeah! He bought a nice blue tie for the occasions.
A roommate from BYU-Idaho came to visit on her way through Iowa. We figured we hadn't seen each other in 6 years! That seems like such a long time. Ranee looked great. It was good to hear her laugh!! I met her mother for the first time and she was real nice. We went to the Mormon Trails Center at Winter Quarters. There was a tour which talked about the pioneers that crossed there. I was so happy to spend time with a good friend.
OK, we think we are making our trip to Reno this Friday...
