What? What does that mean? It means Joe was hired by a company in Omaha! It all happened with the right people and the right timing...He interviewed on Wedesday, June 4th. When he came home and told me about the it, I was thinking, "This sounds like a good fit for Joe's personality and our family." The next day we went to Reno and on Monday they offered him a job! Saturday we returned from our trip and on Monday he was at his first job as an EIT! He completed his first week and what a happy man he's been. I met his boss and others that work there. They are kind and happy people who are thankful to have Joseph working with them. It is a great blessing and we are thankful to God.
We have decided to rent a house for the time being, and again one opened up just at the right time. We were looking at one house when another next to Chris and Mara's house opened up. I prayed about it and feel right going with the one next door. Our move in date is set to be early August when we return from Adam and Heather's wedding.
We had a great time visiting Kayann, Mark, Marlan, Lee, Emma, Sarah and Sharla. We played, laughed, ate and saw places together. The drive to Minden was marked with fruit snack throw up from Xela! Joe celebrated his 25th birthday and Kayann made carrot cake for him with delicious frosting! Kayann is a great cook! One day the girls and I played princess while Joe and Lee helped each other with video games. Xela loved playing outside with her cousins and loved playing in the dirt. It was great to spend time with all of them. The trip home was marked by a book on CD Joe recieved from his parents-Men of Valor by Robert Millet. We are looking forward to seeing all of them again in about a month!

Congratulations!!! Oh, that feeling of getting a real job and feeling like regular life, regular routine, and a regular pay check are going to start is a WONDERFUL feeling! Enjoy it! Although I must say that is still way too far away!
Yeah, that's so exciting! My sister lives in Omaha right now, but just for the summer. She'll be gone by the time you get there. Good luck with everything though. I'm excited for the day we start our lives not being in school.
