Charlotte's first tooth has poked through today! Yeah! Daddy found it this morning. Charlotte also began saying the "Da" sound and quietly clapping this past week. We all made a family walk with the girls in the strollers to the Council Bluffs Library yesterday and that was good exercise. Grandma and Grandpa have a swing set in their yard and I found a free children's kitchen toy. We have been enjoying the fresh air and the dirt.
Our first week in Council Bluffs was hard on me. I didn't think I was stressed about the cleaning and moving. Saturday, the moving day, was the culprit I suspect. I had forgotten how much work went in to spot cleaning, not to mention taking care of little ones at the same time. As a result my body let me know that I wasn't going to fool it any longer-I was sick with stomach pains and so forth. Joe was an angel and took care of the girls while I tried to tell my conscious and subconscious that everything worked out and we are here safe at last. So after a week of pain and a slam bang finish of a migraine I am back to myself again.
We are trying to get figured out a visit to Joe's oldest sister Kayann. She and her family live in Minden, Nevada (close to Reno). But between sicknesses, other obligations and interviews it has not happened yet. Later in the summer we are excited to go to Grandpa's cabin and then Joe's brother's wedding in August. We will see how these all come about!
I don't know if I should apologize or not for being an American Idol addict this season. I usually am very strict in not allowing myself to be pulled by things (except my love affair with the scriptures as Spencer W. Kimball put it once). Since I chose to be, it was a very delicate balancing act. Anyway, about it, I knew it would be the two Davids. Congratulations to Cook and to Archuleta. Actually after the finale, I gave a sigh of relief. I could put focus back on my family for the 2-4 hours a week I was glued. (I think I am over it more completely today-why did they invent youtube?) With an addiction there are withdrawals.

Congratulations on moving, and I'm sorry you wore yourself out so bad. I hope everything works out for you guys.
I'm glad you are doing better now, and I'm sorry you were so sick after moving! Please let us know when you find a job! We're leaving this Friday to go house shopping in Cedar City. Then we move the third week of July. It's going to fly!
I'm anxious to hear where you guys end up too! Moving is a stress whether you think it will be or not. It's just one of those hard things.
If you find yourself needing to stay over in northern Utah, we'd be happy to have you! We'd even feed you and everything.
I was wondering after reading your last post where your interim-home would be. That is nice that you can spend the time with your family. Good luck with finding a job! And about the flooding, yeah, the Mills are fine too. We saw them on Sunday
