Month Gone By

Joe has taken Xela on a nature walk through the wildlife preserve to find deer, foxes and other animals. I am finishing up the last of the boxes that will go in storage or in the van. Charlotte is eating a tortilla with me and saying "mama" very clearly. We are leaving Ames tomorrow for our interim home-my mother and father are excited to have their granddaughters in their home, oh, and their daughter and her husband too :)

While Joe was waiting for his temple recommend interview we talked with another couple. She had been a teacher and he was a (mechanical) engineer. The guys exchanged laughs at each others specific work and then I asked how long it took to find their first job out of college. Her answer surprised me, but said it was easier to find a job in the Midwest. That gives us an idea about time and a hope about where.
