Moving, Moving

Joe contemplating life...er, or the bathroom. Can't tell which :)
We've had a whole month to fix up and move into our new home in Willernie, Mn. We have been progressing well, but this is the last week and so it's crunch time. You know, I can't wait to get back to the normal mellowness of life, though I'm not complaining it's been busy-I just really value time to think! haha.

Our 1 tomato from our indoor garden! It made us really happy :)
We attended, for the last time, our new ward in Hudson, WI (after they dissolved our original ward in Jan.) and I think I will miss it. They were sticky sweet nice and very organized. The ward we are going to move in to sounds a little bit chaotic yet exploding with missionary work. This ward has 3 languages and I'm crossing my fingers not to have an additional calling (I may have Stake calling immunity since they let me keep the one I have through the dissolve and move back in), but I know myself and I would never turn down another call to serve, especially because God has blessed me with so much. It's new territory being in a large ward (like 6 years ago) and it will take some getting used to :)
Taken this summer with Trista's new hair bows

The girls loved the Valentine's cards I made them and Joe got me a bar of my favorite mint chocolate. Short, sweet and too the point because we've been so busy. Joe and his friend are completely remodeling the upstairs bathroom. It's fascinating to watch it go from bare bones to what I've picked out. Joe doesn't have to work today and he took the next two days off to finish it.  Amen! to the tax return that came with no better timing!

Bathtub in the room. When is the inspector coming?
Ward potluck: Meatless Sloppy Joe's. Surprised meat-lovers LOVED it.
The girls are so in love with this new house. They can't get enough of it and often cry when we leave. It's fun for them to have stairs and more room to play. They think every part about it is fun. Other then exploring the new house they are all about the play, play, play. I'm so thankful they have imaginations and don't have to be entertained constantly by electronics or people. Although they enjoy their movie time (we don't have/want television channels). They are so funny and cute and Xela is full of questions everyday, Charlotte makes things funny with her "ba-boom's" down the stairs and Anne has been hugging everyone a lot lately. I think it's because she's saying, "We're home!!! If I have to spend one more minute in a cart at a Home Depot, Menards or Lowe's, I think I'm gonna...!" I don't blame her. Needless to say, I have a babysitter every day this week so the girls don't have to be on adult time or errands. I think it's a win-win for everyone!

Peace out!
