Job searching is fun! Well, it's fun when things keep moving at least. He hears back from about 1 of every 3-4 he puts out. Here is an update on the highlights...
-Phone interview with a Murray, Utah company. They called in July and said the position was filled.
-E-mail saying he'd have a phone interview in Newport News, Virginia. Still waiting to hear back from that one :)
-Face to face interview in Minnesota. They gave 3 positions to men with 25, 15 and 10 years experience (Joe has 1 year under his belt).
-E-mail from a company saying it was a hard decision choosing from 600 applicants and thanked him for trying :)
-Phone interview with a company in Texas, he was 1 of 7. They called and said he had too much experience (ha!). They did want to forward his resume to a new office opening in Louisiana. Expecting a phone call this week (cross our fingers).
-Face to face interview in Chicago. 300 applicants this time, 1 of 12 chosen to interview. Should hear back next week...will Joe be the next Engineering Idol? Tune in next week for the elimination round where 11 people get voted off :)
I told Joe since we had to spend the money, he should enjoy being there and take lots of pictures for me. I am really curious about this bean he says is an attraction downtown where he was staying.

I'm glad you're getting some leads. I'm sorry it must be a stressful time for your family. I hope you get a job in Utah or Idaho! Then we could come see you.
