Clearplay

Hello friends and family. We are doing well. Nothing really new to update except the second trimester went great and in my 3rd trimester I'm tired! Isn't that so happy!! I really mean it. I can handle tired :) Joe is still applying for jobs and the delightful girls are growing and happy.

I found a helpful product that I want to tell all about. It is a DVD player the edits out offensive language, violence, pornography and adult content while you watch your regular DVD's, seamlessly. It is awesome!! It is a company that has been around for over at least 5 years if not 10. Check out www.clearplay.com. All you do is purchase their DVD player (a normal price, we got ours from Target) and then you download "filters" from their website on the USB stick, comes with it (according to how often you want to download at an easy price) and wa-la! Happy family friendly movie watching.

One thing they do, that I really like, is when a new movie comes out that they've made a filter for, they send an e-mail (if you want) telling the general plot line, what has been clearplayed out, and then a general recommendation if it is worth watching and what audiences would enjoy it most. They have clearplayed around 2,800 movies and new ones keep being added.

I am just happy that I can watch movies that I have loved but given up because I am not entertained by the pornography, language, violence etc. And I can watch new ones that come out too if interested. The customer service team has always been there to answer questions and even have given us the upgraded player free of charge so we can enjoy their service. Great company, great product, and great movie watching!!! I recommend this to anyone who cares about the media's influence on their family's happiness!!!!

Love,
The Blacks

I heard of it but I thought there was a monthly fee. So once you buy the DVD player is it free from there? Thanks so much for keeping us in mind! Adam and I love to watch movies but so many of the PG's are getting worse and worse lately that we are hardly ever able to find one we enjoy.
