Hello friends and family. In some ways it feels like forever ago that I posted, and in other ways it feels like only yesterday...(sorry, blogger wouldn't post any pics today)
-The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. I am thankful that Joe had a wonderful engineering job at a great company and I am thankful that he was laid off (May 22). The government stimulus money didn't come in for projects Joe was working on so they had to let him go. It was a little of a shock, but then Joe said he saw it coming because there wasn't much for him to do...
There have been leads and a few interviews. If you know of any engineers that know of any openings could you send them Joe's way? His e-mail is theonlyjoeblack@gmail.com, or you can just e-mail them to me yenniojoe@yahoo.com. His area is Civil Engineering, anything to do with bridges, transportation, water (hydrology). He has one year's experience. Anything would be appreciated. And networking is getting us places...
We'll keep you posted whatever happens :) We leave our trust in God.
Much love,
The Blacks
