Something to Say

I enjoy catching up on others blogs. Life can be so busy that it's a quick way to check up. I am reading others words being expressed so creatively that this journal-like exercise has become a way to purge one's soul in a life that so rich. Rich with marriage, children with spiritual and secular learning.

Maybe broccoli is better for me than a chocolate chip granola bar, but I cannot help feeling 18 again when I watch David Archuleta clips on YouTube. Joe just looks at me, probably hoping that this does not turn out like my occasional N*Sync fetish or my mothers Donny Osmond adoration. Joe is my Number One and I told him that I'd rather have him sing to me then, what's his name, on Pirates of Pensance or David Archuleta.

A thing to say about my Charlotte. If you haven't heard me say it, then here I go, "She is my piece of heaven." She is a daddy's girl, not only because she looks like him, but because she looks for him. Amidst all of my trying to teach her to say "mama" I wouldn't be surprised if she said "Dada" first. Xela wants me in different ways then she wants Joe. She wants my affection and Joe's adventure. Charlotte is content and wants to smile with you. It is amazing how different they are. Their tenacity and obedient hearts will take them far.

Yay, you've joined the throngs of bloggers! It sure is a nice way to keep in touch. Also, I bet our kids will enjoy looking at these when they're grown. I'd love to see what my mom would have written about me when I was little.

Incidentally, I also enjoy David Archuleta. He's adorable, and what a voice!
